Overview

Grantees that implement projects focus on either a children and youth or an engaging men and boys project. Children and Youth projects focus on providing a continuum of efforts including but not limited to comprehensive child- and youth-centered prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies. Engaging Men and Boys projects support multi-faceted prevention strategies that involve community organizing, outreach, public education, and mentorship through the mobilization of men and boys.

There are four primary focus areas of the CY & EM grant programs:

  • Children Exposed to Violence (ages 0-10)
  • Community Based (ages 11-24)
  • School-Based (ages 5-19)
  • Engaging Men and Boys
